Celebration of the St. Nicholas Day

December 19, the University celebrated the St. Nicholas Day.

The first winter holiday, which we traditionally celebrate at the University for many years, is St. Nicholas Day. This holiday is traditional for Ukraine, a symbol of something magical, amazing and fabulous.

The event was organized with the support of the Center of Culture and Leisure, together with the Social Service and the Primary Trade Union Organization of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

In the university hall, a real mystery took place, which gave a bunch of unforgettable impressions to all viewers. Loud children’s laughter resounded from the first minutes of the performance, the parents also rejoiced and celebrated with their children. A lot of contests and assignments waited for children on the way to the desired sweet gifts provided by the Primary Trade Union Organization. Children enjoyed playing and having fun with students disguised as fairy-tale hero costumes. Dances, in which children actively participated, added new colors to the celebration.

At the end of the performance, all the children received sweet gifts and promised to obey their parents and behave well next year.
