St. Nicholas Day is one of the brightest and favorite holidays not only for children, but also for adults.

On this day, each of us hopes for some small miracle, the realization of a cherished dream, which only a saint can. Millions of children and adults around the world are waiting for him, because, apart from gifts, he brings joy, hope and love to every home. Children who are in the hospital are also worried, the Wonderworker will not forget about them, whether they will find a gift under their pillow. For such children, on December 19, 2018 on St. Nicholas’s Day, students and teachers of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of LTSNU organized a real holiday in the infection department of the Starobilsk District Regional Territorial Medical Association.

The students majoring in “Preschool Education”, “Primary Education”, “Psychology”, “Special Education” prepared a fabulous performance for children, where St. Nicholas and his assistants waited for them (Snow Maiden, Angels, Winter, Fox, Wolf, Fairy, Snowflakes). In addition, the students had fun with the children, games, dances with singing. On this day, many wishes sounded, but the main ones, of course, were wishes for health, peace, well-being, mutual understanding and wish fulfillment. Good assistants of St. Nicholas did not forget anyone, and every little patient received sweets and toys.
