On December 16, a charity event “Open Creative Building” took place in the Institute of Culture and Arts.
The organizers of the action were teachers and students majoring in “Fine and Decorative-Applied Arts” of the Institute of Culture and Arts.
From morning to evening, Dr. Glazer’s “Red House”, the building where our art students study, opened the doors for everyone to plunge into the atmosphere of a mysterious manor with its inhabitants. Visitors were awaited by amazing linocut master-classes from the teachers of the department Tetiana Metel and the painting of brooches from Nato Mikeladze, the make-up from the student Marina Tolmacheva and origami from Anna Oleinik. The Associate Professor of the Department of Fine and Decorative-Applied Arts, as well as the architect and historian Arthur Haroyan conducted excursions all day, and Mark Vlasenko played the role of drawing Nikola Tesla.
The students Vadym Mikhailichenko, Nadiia Zaichenko and Kostya Sharlai created a cozy musical atmosphere, and Andrii Komyagin, Nastya Scherbinina and Kateryna Goryashchenko played the role of the characters of the Red House.
It is worth noting that for the 3rd year in a row the Red House, where our students study, has become a real creative workshop for our artists. There was a place for sculptural, pictorial and decorative applied locations.
This action was carried out within the framework of the project “Nikolay in the City”, initiated by the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership in Poltava, with the support of the Poltava Battalion of the Indifferent. It is nice that the event attracted the attention of a large number of people.
During the action, it was possible to collect 5863 UAH, which will be spent on improving the comfort of the oncohematological department of the Poltava City Children’s Clinical Hospital.
