“Climate Education 2018: Values and Trends”

The Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Natalia Matsai took part in the forum “Climate Education 2018: Values and Trends”.
The scientists, teachers, representatives of public organizations and all those who want to learn more about climate education and promote environmental values in society gathered in the capital for the third time.
On the first day of the forum, a panel discussion took place, during which community activists, together with teachers and government officials discussed the importance of translating environmental values in the modern world and the role of educational institutions in this. In addition, the issue of environmental literacy in the context of the New Ukrainian School and the creation of a vision of climate education for the future was considered.
The second day of the forum was traditionally devoted to interesting presentations, trainings and master classes on environmental education.
This forum has become a platform for sharing experiences and best practices in integrating climate change and environmental issues into formal and non-formal education.
