The University Administration meeting

Today the University hosted a scheduled meeting of the University Administration.
The following issues were discussed on the agenda: the work of the Legal Department to ensure compliance with legislation in the activities of the University.
Having heard and discussed the report of the head of the Legal Department A.V. Mironchenko and the Chairman of the Commission for the preparation of issues for the University Administration meeting V.P. Moroz, the University Administration noted that the Legal Department of the University is guided by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, decrees of the President of Ukraine, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and other regulatory acts. Concerning the organization and methods of conducting legal work, the Legal Department is guided by the recommendations of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The Legal Department reports directly to the Rector of the University.
The main task of the Legal Department at the University is the organization of legal work aimed at the correct application, strict observance and prevention of non-compliance with the requirements of legislative acts and other regulatory documents on the part of management and employees during their functional duties and tasks.
According to this, the Legal Department organizes and ensures the proper implementation of legislative acts, submits to the management proposals for solving legal issues of the economic and social activities of the University, provides legal assistance in the process of creating, mastering and implementing scientific and technical developments, the latest technologies, as well as in implementing measures to improve the quality of services, analyzes the consequences of reviewing claims, lawsuits and court cases, the practice of concluding and executing contracts (contracts), etc.
At the same time, there are problems in the work of the Legal Department that need to be resolved, in particular, employees of the Department do not undergo advanced training. Despite this, in general, the work of the Legal Department was found to be satisfactory.
Among the miscellaneous members of the meeting accepted to enter S.A. Shekhavtsova, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and N.V. Nazarenko, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts into the structure of the University Administration.
