Competition «Mosaic»

The Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts hosted the competition of choreographic works “Mosaic”.

The participants of the competition and at the same time its directors were students majoring in “Choreography”. The student competition of choreographic works “Mosaic” is a new undertaking for the specialty, although there are annual traditional events aimed at improving student skills. The purpose of the event is to show the audience not only students’ own choreographic performances, but also to attract leading experts, who, together with their students, analyzed performances and created important feedback.

Some participants performed solo, others – made a statement in different styles, ranging from contempo and ending with folk dances. At the concert were presented thematic productions with philosophical overtones, as well as classical and folk performances aimed at reflecting the techniques of performers.

This year the honored artist of Ukraine Vadym Viktorovych Perepelkin became the chairman of the jury. Teachers of the Department together with him congratulated students and awarded everyone with appropriate diplomas and prizes.
