Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the concert program “Дорогою добра” (“On the Way of Good”) conducted on May 22 in Kreminna.

University teachers and students came to congratulate Kreminna Regional Special Education Boarding School where children and tutors of the establishment welcomed guests and participants from different districts.

Holiday concert dedicated to Children’s Day presented performances of talented pupils of boarding school for special needs, dances of awardees of national and state competitions for persons with disabilities. LNU students and teachers as well full the atmosphere with creativity. Patriotic and lyrical songs were performed by talented vocalists of university and Starobilshchina: Mykhailo Tretiak, Tetiana Kindiakova, Vladyslav Teterev, vocal trio – Alina Marchenko, Serhii Serhiienko and Oksana Shamrykha and the band “Flying Swang”.

In addition to the concert participation the university was aimed to solve the first-order problems which boarding school’s children and teachers faced with. As noted by the Prorector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Babychev, the overall goal of the university is to educate children with health problems. The emphasize was put on the necessity for explaining teachers the features of remote education and implementation of its functionality. “Furthermore, there is one problem which can’t be solved on their own – this is a retraining of teaching staff. That’s why we have an agreement that we take the responsibility of three boarding schools and help their teachers to enter the post-qualifying education,” – said Oleksandr Babychev. So, the university solves the problem of boarding schools’ tutors which aren’t able to take qualification upgrading courses in different parts of Ukraine.

During the concert event organizers, volunteers and charity organization members took the floor to speak. The children received presents, sweets and unforgettable impressions.
