21.5.2015
Students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University are going to Poland for education. List of program participants are arranged now.
The main condition for participation is a high level English. “All interested students are interviewed with the representatives of Polish universities. The Polish appraise the English level of the candidates, choose the best ones and invite them for the free education. Besides, students are provided with a hostel for free as well,” – noted the Head of the Center for International and Educative Work of LNU Iryna Myhovych.
The students will study in Poland for half a year and then return to LNU and continue education in Ukraine. Cooperation agreement was signed last year and project was approbated successfully. “Last autumn we sent 6 magistrands to Lodz for one semester but because of the difficult situation in Ukraine I arranged with Polish colleagues and our students could stay till the end of the academic year. They were studying at our university at the same time so they will obtain Ukrainian diplomas at arrival,”- told Iryna Viktorivna.
They noted at LNU that despite the forced evacuation the international cooperation has been saved. Students and teachers keep taking an internship abroad, there are cooperation agreements. This year such cooperation has been signed with the Georgian university and one more university in Poland.
