Open Doors Day at the Faculty of Foreign Languages

At the Faculty of Foreign Languages on November 24, 2018, an open door was held.

Applicants and their parents were able to personally familiarize themselves with the work of the Faculty and learn about the work of each of the departments, namely: the Department of Romano-Germanic Philology, the Department of World Literature and Russian Linguistics, the Department of Oriental Languages, the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation.

All departments presented detailed information about the educational process, introduced the visitors with educational programs, areas and specialties that may be selected by entrants upon entering our faculty.

On the Open Doors Day of the Faculty of Foreign Languages students from the Poltava secondary school levels I-III №6, Private educational complex “Parostok”, Poltava secondary school levels I-III №38, Poltava gymnasium №33, Poltava secondary school levels I-III №29 and other institutions of secondary education.

Students from grades 10-11 were invited to take part in the contest “Poetry of the Peoples of the World”, as well as to enrol in the courses for external independent assessment, which are held by the Faculty of Foreign Languages; after passing the last year’s courses a large number of university students was able to make a higher level of higher education and enter our university on a budget form of training.

We wish all the entrants to make the right choice and look forward to the next meeting with them as students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
