“Build the never-ending cathedral of the memory”

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Economy and Business visited the exhibition “Build the never-ending cathedral of the memory.”

On the eve of the Holodomor Victims Remembrance Day, Luhansk Regional Museum of Local Lore presented an exhibition about the tragedy of the Ukrainian people of the 1930s, which is not easy to show! Images, objects, candles, rowan berries, copies of documents tell about a “happy” life in Soviet times. At the same time, the ears of flowers in Maci Tre remind of the document signed by Stalin, which is popularly called the “Law of the Five Spikelets”. As a result of this law, 16 thousand teenagers were shot in Ukraine. Today’s youth is hard to understand, but it’s necessary to know.

The emotional saturation of the exhibition exposition was supplemented by a multimedia excursion “Face to face with the past”, which contains evidence of those who experienced terrible events in the Luhansk region. In their speeches, they noted the reasons for the artificial Holodomor-genocide, carried out by the Stalinist totalitarian regime against the Ukrainian people, called to remember the history and spread the truth in the world in order to prevent such a tragedy in the future.

The memory of the innocent victims of the Holodomor in Ukraine was honored with a minute of silence.
