Today the Applicant Day took place at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The University opened its doors in the morning. The applicants and their parents had the opportunity to learn about the features of training, separate structural subdivisions and communicate with representatives of the educational institution.

During the event, a conference was held at which the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Serhii Savchenko spoke about the history of the university’s foundation, its achievements and the vectors of future development.

The executive secretary of the Admission Committee Yaroslava Yurkiv spoke about the peculiarities of the admission campaign – 2019, holding the creative competitions. She also answered the questions of applicants.

During the conference, future students asked questions that interested them. So, one of the most popular was the question of practice and internships abroad, to which Serhii Savchenko replied: “Our international relations not only did not disappear, but vice versa, new ones appear. Students have the opportunity to train in Turkey, Bulgaria, Thailand, and now we are renewing ties with the People’s Republic of China.” This suggests that the University is developing, enabling young professionals to realize themselves.

The meeting with applicants is an important component of the success of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and school leavers who will become its students in the future.
