Open Workshop for Entrepreneurs

The teachers and students of the Department of Commodity Research, Commercial Business and Products Expertise of the ER ICSTT visited the Open Workshop for Entrepreneurs of Luhansk region.

During the event, legal issues of doing business were considered. Also the issue of food safety in the foodservice and retail sectors, as well as consumer protection issues were raised.

The speakers of the Open Workshop were a lawyer of the Norwegian Refugee Council, a lawyer of the project “Economic Opportunities for Victims of Conflict”, representatives of the Main Department of State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety in the Luhansk region and the Consumer Protection Office of the Luhansk Regional Employment Center.

The event was conducted by the public organization “Severodonetsk Youth Council” in the framework of the project “Economic Opportunities for Victims of Conflict”, which is being implemented by the International Charitable Foundation “Ukrainian Women’s Foundation” with the support of USAID in cooperation with the Norwegian Refugee Council.

Teachers of the Department also offered help and invited the assembled entrepreneurs to take part in the training seminar “Commodity nomenclature according to UKT FEA in tax accounting”, which will be held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University on April 16, 2019 at 11.00 at the address: room 101, 1 Gogol Square, the city of Starobilsk.
