International Students’ Day

The International Students’ Day was celebrated at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

Student time is one of the most romantic and delightful in human life. The unique vivid emotions that accompany young people during their studies become hot and pleasant memories that inspire over the coming years.

The concert program, which traditionally took place in the Starobilsk nightclub, began with a greeting from the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Babichev. He congratulated all those present on the holiday and wished unforgettable impressions of their years of study, and also awarded diplomas to active students, who make efforts to develop their own Alma Mater.

After the ceremonial speeches was an entertainment program. The students of each structural university subdivision prepared interesting concert performances, the winners of which were awarded with prizes and gifts provided by the Primary Trade Union Organization of the University.

The choreographic performances of students of the dance group “Underground” of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications and the team “Crazy” of the Educational and Research Institute of the History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences were amazing. Also were performances of the dancing duet “Unlike”, the collectives of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and “Inspiration”. And the song compositions performed by Kateryna Bohodukh, Valeria Surina, Kateryna Syncha became an organic addition to the holiday.

Various contests were organized, in which students took part with enthusiasm. At the end of the festive program, they conducted an interesting lottery. Among the prizes were certificates for visiting the gym, T-shirts, sweatshirts, cap and cups with the logo “LTSNU”. All of them were provided by the Primary Trade Union Organization of our University.

History gives young people one of the most places in the process of creating and developing an independent Ukraine. Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is proud of its students, who glorify the name of their native Alma Mater, demonstrate high results of scientific and creative activity and preserve the traditions of the Ukrainian people.
