Dedication to students

The traditional annual festival “Dedication to students” was held at the Institute of Culture and Arts of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. 

The student self-government decided to renew the tradition and arrange competitions between specialties in order to select the best ones and encourage others.

For the holiday, they chose the theme of the magic school – the ceremony of distribution to specialties with the help of a magic hat, and the performance of freshmen for a successful self-presentation fit into this concept.

The holiday was organized as comfortably and as friendly as possible. All those present supported the leaders and reacted lively to references to last year’s jokes, which also featured in the speeches.

After the main part of the concert, the jury, which included teachers and curators of specialties, chose the absolute winners. They became students majoring in “Audiovisual Arts and Production”. The rest of the nominations were divided among representatives of the specialties “Musical Arts”, “Fine Arts” and “Choreography”.

The final chord of the evening was the performance of the university’s anthem, during which the audience sang along and lit the lanterns, which added to the festive atmosphere even more comfort.
