Vote Counting is Complete

In Starobilsk Central Election Committee on election to the position of Rector of LNU has finished vote counting.

Today Central Election Committee formed at Luhansk National University for the rectorial election has completed summing-up. Central Election Committee members have signed protocols (READ PROTOCOL).

So, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Serhii Viktorovych Savchenko has been confirmed as the new Rector of LNU having taken the majority of votes (election representatives of teaching staff and students) – 90.92%.

We remind that the elections were conducted yesterday, on May 14, according to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (No. 50-K as of 20.02.2015). 1014 university representatives took part in the election.
