University Administration Meeting

The University held a scheduled meeting of the University Administration.
The agenda included the following issues:
- about the work of the departments of Information Technologies Center for the information support of the university activities.
Having heard and discussed the report of the head of the Department of Educational Laboratories and Computer Classes Yevgen Kondratenko, the University Administration noted that the Information Technology Center was established 16 years ago for the application of information technology in various areas of university life.
The main tasks of the center are to set up, maintain and repair computer equipment and peripheral equipment, install, configure, maintain software, develop software, create and maintain information transmission networks, provide access to the Internet, create and administer services in the global network, support databases of the university data, information technology user support.
To perform these tasks, the Center has specialized departments, whose functions have changed in recent years due to objective reasons. The departments of the Center directly interact with other departments and departments of the University.
Despite certain problems in work (insufficient bandwidth of the Internet channel, difficult functioning of the university information services located on the Internet), in general, the work of the Information Technologies Center was considered satisfactory.
