University Volleyball Women’s Championship

Eight women’s teams competed for the Commemorative Rectorate’s Cup in the University Volleyball Championship.
The teams of FNS and ER IEB were considered the favorites. The first players were girls who have experience in volleyball battles. The first team included the experienced players Tetiana Kulinchenko and Polina Burian, and in the EB team, these volleyball players are Iryna Pliasulia and Daria Zadorozhna. The overall success of the team depended on the game of these leaders.
It is pleasant to note that these competitions have opened new names. Therefore, first-year students were included in the university team following the results of the championship: Yulia Bondar (ER IHIRSPS), Karyna Skrypnyk and Lilia Kuravkina (ER IPP), Liza Lyaschenko (ER ICSTT).
As for the games, the emotions and passions in the matches grew with each round. In the first games, the favorites of the championship of FNS and IEB successfully started. Also two college teams and the team IPP-2 also won. The further the team moved forward in the standings, the more interesting the games were. The team that lost twice dropped out of the Championship.
A very important duel was between the teams of SHPC and ICSTT. In this match the winner was the team of SHPC with the score of 2:1. Later this team met with the team with the same achievement ERIPP-2 in the fight for the third place. The IPP team won and took the third place in the Championship.
As expected, the fate of the first place was decided by the favorites FNS and ER IEB. In the first set, the beginning of the game was equal, the excitement of the leaders of both teams lead to a lot of mistakes. But the end of the game was won by the team of FNS thanking to the confident playing of Tetiana Kulinchenko. They won with the score of 19:15. The second set was won by “economists”: Pliasulia and Zadorozhna began to play better. Their actions leveled the game of Kulinchenko and brought the victory with the score of 19:11. The decisive third set was won by the volleyball players of ER IEB with the score of 15:11. They became the winners of the University Volleyball Championship.
At the award ceremony, the winning team of ER IEB was awarded with the Cup and diploma of the University Administration. The prizewinners were awarded with the diplomas and sweet prizes from directors and deputy directors of institutes and faculties. The best player became Iryna Pliasulia (ER IEB).
