Participation in the training

Students of Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College and College of LTSNU took part in the training with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The International Committee of the Red Cross is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose independent humanitarian mission is to protect the life and dignity of victims of war, to assist and prevent situations of internal violence. The activity of the organization is especially relevant during the military aggression in the east of Ukraine.

Conflict affected all segments of the population, among whom are young people. That is why at our University a lot of attention is paid to stabilizing the emotional state of students, adapting them to peaceful life.

Thus, at the initiative of the student social service, a training entitled “Stabilization of the emotional state of students” was held. During the event, the specialists of the International Committee of the Red Cross could learn about the state of the youth of the University, their fears and feelings with the help of metaphorical associative cards.

At the end of the event, experts of the international organization conducted the game “Fairy Tale”, and all those present expressed hope for the continuation of such events.
