Ideas of the New Ukrainian School

The Department of Preschool and Primary Education continues to work with future primary school teachers regarding the implementation of the ideas of the New Ukrainian School.

On November 2, 2018, the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Maryna Yepikhina introduced students to the features of teaching the integrated course “I Explore the World” as part of an interactive lecture.

The participants had the opportunity to learn about the theoretical material on the basics of integration in education, to understand which educational lines of the updated State Standard of General Primary Education are integrated in accordance with the existing programs in the course “I Explore the World”. Of course, students were most interested in direct immersion into a lesson, fragments of which were demonstrated by Maryna Anatoliyivna. Future specialists played the morning meeting, took part in didactic games, guessed riddles, danced, painted, etc.

Maryna Yepikhina, who was one of the first in Ukraine to become the developer of the structure of the discipline “Methods of teaching an integrated course “I explore the world”, stressed that the quality of education in the New Ukrainian School depends on the creativity of future teachers.
