University Volleyball Championships

Looking through the games of the University Volleyball Championships, we can confidently state that the level of the game has increased significantly.

Five teams claimed victory in the current Championship. But, unfortunately, the highest level of the podium was only one and the most successful team took it. This team that demonstrated a good game both in defense and in attack, and most importantly, the team members played with the desire to win in every match and in the Championship.

The championship was held in two stages. At the first stage team played between themselves in groups, and then the four best teams (two from each group) held the final games.

The group A consisted of three combined teams: the team of the College of LTSNU and Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College; the team of IHIRSPS and IPES; and the team of the ICSTT and IPMIT. The team of Colleges and the team of IHIRSPS and IPES reached the final games.

There were three teams in the group B. Here the team of the Institute of Economy and Business took the first place in the group; the team of the Faculty of Natural Sciences took the second place. These teams reached the final. The third was the team of the Regional Center for Vocational Education.

The next day the final games took place. The combined team of the College of LTSNU and SHPC took the first place and won the Championship Cup. The second place was taken by the team of IHIRSPS and IPES. The team of the FNS beat the team of the IEB and took the third place.  Bogdan Ruzhin was recognized as the best player.

It becomes a pleasant tradition that heads of the structural subdivisions come to award teams and greet their teams with sweet prizes. Therefore, this time, all the participants in the final four received cakes, and they were handed over by the Director of the College of LTSNU Yulia Ivanova, Director of the IHIRSPS Anton Bader, Dean of the FNS Natalia Matsai, Deputy Director For Educational Work of the IEB Svitlana Donchenko. Thanks to you from student-athletes for such attention and support.
