A session of two Specialized Academic Councils was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

Thus, from October 30 to November 1, a field session of two Specialized Academic Councils on the defense of doctoral (master’s) theses in various branches of pedagogical science was held:

D 29.053.01 – chaired by Olena Karaman, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Deputy Chairman of the Dissertation Council;

D 29.053.03 – chaired by Leonid Vakhovskyi, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor.

The agenda included of defense of the following dissertations:

Olena Sbitneva “Aesthetic education of younger schoolchildren in the process of choral activity”, submitted for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, specialty 13.00.07 – theory and methodology of education.

Yaroslava Chirva “Formation of interethnic tolerance among foreign students of classical universities”, submitted for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, specialty 13.00.07 – theory and methodology of upbringing.

Svitlana Grishak “Theory and practice of the development of gender education in higher education in post-Soviet countries: a comparative analysis” submitted for the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, specialty 13.00.01 – general pedagogy and history of pedagogy.

Anna Pryimak “Continuity in raising a healthy lifestyle of senior pupils and students in the system of secondary and higher education” submitted for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, specialty 13.00.07 – theory and methodology of education.

Larysa Koroletska “Development of ecological culture of future bachelors of forestry and landscape gardening in the process of vocational training”, submitted for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, specialty 13.00.04 – theory and methodology of vocational education.

Dmytro Grischuk “Civil socialization of youth in the activities of youth Cossack organizations”, submitted for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, specialty 13.00.05 – social pedagogy.

Mykyta Maksymovskyi “The development of social culture of student youth by means of animation activity”, submitted for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, specialty 13.00.05 – social pedagogy.

Iryna Shama “Formation of the individual style of professional activity of future teachers in the process of using case-technologies”, submitted for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, specialty 13.00.04 – theory and methodology of vocational education.

The defenses were successful. All the candidates declared received the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, and S. Grishak received the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences.
