Sport season started

The District Cup started a new basketball season in the city of Starobilsk.  

Five teams from the district and a guest from the city of Troitsk played the Opening Cup. An active participant in district basketball competitions is the national team of our University. This time it was one of the favorites to win. At first, the team confidently held games in their group, defeating their rivals team “CYSS” with a score of 27:17, and then “Secunda” with a score of 61:21, won first place in the group and reached the final. The second finalist was the team of Troitsk, who beat the “Elevator” team with a score of 28:26 and the basketball players of Polovinkino with a score of 36:32 in a tense struggle. Before the main match, the game for the third place “Elevator” – “Children’s and Youth Sports School” took place. Here, the more experienced “Elevator” players won with a score of 29:23.
