The Voting Results at LNU

The election of LNU rector is complete. The election districts finished their work at 15:00. The votes are counted at the university.
The Organizing Committee told about the number of persons voted. So, 941 persons from 1014 gave their votes. This is 92.8%. The highest number was registered in Lysychansk (election district No. 2) – 98%. The rest subdivisions showed high level of participation as well: Rubizhne (No. 3 and No. 4) – 97% and 96% correspondingly. The front-line city of Shchastia (No.5) showed good results – 97%. 91% in Starobilsk (No.1) and the minimal participation was in Kreminna (No.6) – only 88% of electors voted.
The final information on voting results is not ready yet. The representatives of all election sections with protocols came to Starobilsk where Central Election Committee is summing up results.

We remind that Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Serhii Viktorovych Savchenko (Acting Rector of LNU now) stand for the position of rector. Last month rector candidate visited all subdivisions of LNU, met with colleagues and students. During the meetings Serhii Savchenko introduced the main points of his election program (in educational, scientific activity, social and humanitarian field and informational technologies).
