Reporting and Election Conference

On October 26 the Students’ Reporting and Election Conference was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.

The agenda items included a report by the chairman of the student self-government Iryna Maslovska, the election of a new chairman of the student self-government and the chairman of the Trade Union Organization, miscellaneous.

The conference was attended by 50 student delegates, representatives of the ER IPP administration. The conference began with a welcoming speech from the Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor V.F. Pushko, who congratulated the students on an important event in their lives and noted that their activity indicates an effective life position, wished the participants of the conference creative and fruitful work. Iryna Maslovska, chairperson of the student self-government of the Institute, announced a report on the work results in the academic year 2016-2018, highlighting the features of the development of the student self-government during this period, and spoke about the list of significant events in student life at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology. The conference participants approved the report of the chairman of the student self-government.

The delegates to the conference were addressed by the candidate for the post of head of the student self-government of the ER IPP Oleksandr Sachek (1st year student, specialty “Special Education. Speech Therapy. Special Psychology”). He spoke about his intentions and first steps in future activities, noting a certain inconvenience of his position as a single candidate for the post of head of the Directorate. By voting (47 – for, 0 – against, 3 – abstained) was elected the new chairman of the student directorate of the ER IPP. Also, a group of students re-elected the chairman of the Trade Union Organization Svitlana Bogdan (first-year student, specialty “Primary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature”).

At the point “Miscellaneous”, students of ER IPP at the conference considered a number of important issues related to student self-government at the University.

The Directorate of ER IPP welcomes the newly elected team, and wishes new achievements in the student life of the institute and the university.
