Library named after I.P. Kotlyarevsky- source of knowledge

On October 17, freshmen of the Faculty of Foreign Languages visited the Poltava Regional Universal Scientific Library named after I.P. Kotlyarevsky.

Now, the Poltava Library is a powerful center for working with books and information, a center for communication and leisure, a center for the development of intellectual and creative potential, which combined the performance of traditional functions with modern technical capabilities.

Freshmen learned that the library is engaged in project activities, thanks to which the Internet Center and the Window on America Information Resource Center were opened (with the assistance of the US Embassy in Ukraine). Window on America is a venue for lectures, presentations, video evenings of American films, literary evenings, meetings with interesting people, which contributes to a better understanding of the life and culture of the people of the United States of America.

Students had the opportunity to learn about the structure and resources of the library, visited all its departments and issued reader cards.
