Dear servicemen, fighters for the territorial unity of our state, teachers, staff and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University!

I congratulate you on the Day of the Defender of Ukraine, the Protection of the Holy Virgin and the Ukrainian Cossacks.

The history of the Ukrainian state is inextricably linked with traditional holidays, which became the basis of spiritual unity and the strength of our people. The original revolutionary spirit of our ancestors, the thirst for democratic change and European values ​​have become the core of many changes in the country today.

Now we are building a new system of national security and defense, in which a special place belongs to heroes, patriots and professionals. That is why this day we honor all those who protect the territorial integrity of our state, those who with their body, heart and soul felt their responsibility and involvement in the defense of the Fatherland.

Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are the real pride of our nation. Thanks to government support, the help of international partners and the activities of volunteers, we have become a European country respected in the global community.

I wish our military defenders, who are making incredible efforts to preserve the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine, health, peaceful skies and brilliant victories! Let your cherished dreams come true, and faith be unshakable!
