The Day of the Defender of Ukraine

The Day of the Defender of Ukraine was celebrated at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

On October 12, 2018, the Day of the Defender of Ukraine was celebrated at the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​in order to honour the heroism of the defenders of our Motherland, Ukraine.

This holiday was held under the slogan “Strength of the Unconstrained”, because this strength was demonstrated and is being continued to show by our heroes every day, defending the integrity and independence of Ukraine.

Students, teachers and administration of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​joined the solemn procession to the “Memorable Sign for the Heroes of Heavenly Hundreds”, where they honoured and laid flowers in honour of memory and grief over the dead soldiers of Ukraine. A flash mob was organized at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, a condition of which was to read poetry and to bow, showing gratitude and support to our defenders of the Fatherland.

We sincerely thank the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the Starobilsk Humanitarian Pedagogical College, the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences, the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications, who joined the flash mob that was organized by the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.

The administration of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​expresses its deep respect and appreciation for our peaceful life in our independent Ukraine.
