Day of Education Workers

The Day of Education Workers was celebrated at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

Autumn time annually welcomes with its beauty teachers, mentors, wise educators of the new generation of Ukrainians. The contribution and responsible mission of teachers is extremely important and find sincere gratitude in the hearts of the students.

The festive mood in Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University reigned in the morning. Students congratulated teachers on their professional holiday, having prepared greeting cards and posters in advance.

The delegation of the University took part in the regional celebration dedicated to the Day of Education Workers. L.A. Varyanitsa, A.V. Nikitina, Ye.D. Glukhovtseva, Ye.M. Khrykov, A.V. Naboka and A.Yu. Mukhina received well-deserved awards from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Luhansk Regional State Administration.

The holiday continued with a gala concert in the university assembly hall. At the beginning of the event, the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Serhii Savchenko congratulated all the scientists of our institution and wished endurance, creative inspiration and generous fate.

The Rector also awarded diplomas of honor to the staff and teachers of the University for conscientious work, professionalism and significant personal contribution to the development of national education.

Sincere, melodious and heartfelt songs were presented to the educators by students and university staff: Valeria Kalinichenko, Serhii Sergienko, Nadiia Protasova, Mykhailo Tretiak, Valeria Surina, Viktoria Lysenko and Oksana Verkhovod. In addition, choreographic groups traditionally perform on the stage of our University.  

Finally, all the participants of the concert together congratulated scientists on the Day of Education Workers.
