Excursion around the University

On September 28, students and teachers of Starobilsk Vocational Lyceum No. 93 visited the University.
Every year, more and more graduates of the Lyceum want to continue their studies at a higher education institution and receive a quality education; therefore, they see their professional development at our University. In order to tell the lyceum graduates about the history of LTSNU, its traditions, culture and achievements, the teacher of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business Ya.Ye. Moroz organized a tour around the territory and buildings of the educational institution.
At the very beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Director of the ER ICSTT for Social and Humanitarian Work M. M. Chumak addressed the guests with an opening speech. Emphasis was placed on the importance of such meetings for graduates of the Lyceum in successfully building their professional path. At the end of the speech, there was a wish for everyone to find his or her place in the friendly student family of the University.
The excursion was conducted by the second-year student majoring in “Tourism” Yelizaveta Lyaschenko. Students and teachers of the SPL No.93 visited the student park, walked around the comfortable and cozy territory of the University, and visited the academic buildings. The guests learned about the history of the University, about its outstanding teachers and graduates. Particular attention was focused on the events of 2014 in the history of LTSNU and the fate of the University in a difficult time for it. Despite the difficulties, the University in a short time was able to regain its position as a leader in the educational space of the region. On the personal example of the University and its team, the students of the lyceum saw what love for their native country, dedication and readiness, despite difficulties, continue to carry the light of learning.
At the end of the excursion, the guests made a common photo in the university student park.
