Meeting at the ICSTT

On September 24, a joint meeting of the student self-government of the ER ICSTT and students of the Institute was held.

They discussed a number of topical issues that concern and interest the students. In particular, they were interested in issues on the rights of students in educational, scientific and social activities as well as adequate living conditions for students’ living in the hostels of the university and the organization of recreation and leisure zones.

The main form of communication was a “hot microphone.” Each student was able to ask vital questions to representatives of the student self-government of the Institute and Deputy Director of the ER ICSTT on social and humanitarian work of M.M. Chumak.

The development of student self-government in the institute is an important condition for improving the teaching and upbringing process. The student self-government of the Institute, summarizing the proposals of students, has decided to continue promotion pf the rational use of academic and out-of-school time, introduction of active forms and methods of independent work, organization of useful recreation and leisure.

Within the framework of the meeting, the Deputy Director of the ER ICSTT for Social and Humanitarian Work  M.M. Chumak announced gratitude to students for conscientious attitude to study, participation in cultural and educational work, active life position and social activities.
