The European Day of Languages
27.9.2018
A large-scale event, the European Day of Languages, took place at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
Despite the centuries-long history of the development of European languages, this celebration was launched in 2001. Since then, on the 26th of September, the European Day of Languages is celebrated in order to maintain linguistic diversity, to promote the teaching of different languages in the world and to study them.
Of course, our students-philologists have joined the celebration of this outstanding date, because our faculty is studying a large number of European languages such as English, German, French and Spanish. Each group of students prepared creative informational posters about the languages they are studying, presented a lot of interesting facts about different languages and cultures of the world and told about how they study foreign languages at our faculty.
We wish our students even more creative inspiration and perseverance in such a hard work as learning foreign languages and cultures!
