“There is healthy mind in a healthy body”

The sports holiday “There is healthy mind in a healthy body” took place in the Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College of LTSNU. 

September 20, 2018, Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College of LTSNU celebrated two events: a sports-mass holiday “There is Healthy Mind in a Healthy Body” and a meeting with representatives of the Luhansk Frontier Detachment and the LOO MBO “BF” SOS Children’s Village”.

It became already a good tradition to hold a sports and mass event at the Starobilsk College on the Health Day. Its goal is to attract freshmen to our large, friendly student family, promote healthy lifestyles, and develop interest in physical culture and sports.

The event was solemnly opened with the anthem of Ukraine and the welcome word of the Acting Director of the College Ye.N. Krutko. In response, the students demonstrated the presentations of the teams in a creative way.

Funny contests, interesting tasks, organized for students Viktoria Volodymyrivna with BF “SOS Children’s Village”, contributed to good mood, health promotion and harmonious development of students.

At lunch time, a pleasant surprise was waiting for all participants of the holiday. The military men of the Luhansk Frontier Detachment deployed a real soldier’s field kitchen, having treated the guests with delicious cereal and fragrant tea.

In response, the students thanked the defenders of the Ukrainian border with caravans and wishes, which were placed in the symbolic map of our country.

Students returned home as satisfied, full of strength and inspiration, ready for new achievements!
