Health Day in the LTSNU College

Health Day took place in the College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

According to the tradition, at the beginning of each new academic year at the LTSNU College students and teachers celebrate Health Day – a holiday of positive emotions, smiles, health, sport spirit, cozy and friendly atmosphere. But for our freshmen this day is a good occasion to learn more each other and to rally to a real friendly team.

This year, the celebration took place on September 19. The event took place in the form of a quest on the theme “Movement is Life!” It began with wishes of good mood and good health for all present from the Director of the College Yulia M. Ivanova. At the sports festival there were many different competitions and companionable contests between the students. The contest program was very interesting and varied.

Girls and boys had the opportunity to demonstrate their physical training in sports competitions by stuffing the ball into quantity, playing volleyball and football, running race, etc.

The final competition was the tug of war. After summing up the results and identifying the winners, who were awarded with sweet gifts and honored certificates, the tired and cheerful students together with their curators rested and tasted a kulesh.

Participants of the sports festival received many positive emotions and a charge of energy, which will be needed in the academic year.
