Welcome freshmen to Poltava

At the Faculty of Foreign Languages, an event was held to introduce first-year students to Poltava and Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

On the nineteenth of September in 2018 the first-year students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages got acquainted with the historical places of Poltava. The students visited the museum of the outstanding humanist writer, democrat, human rights defender V.G. Korolenko, a man whose contribution to the development of Ukrainian literature is faulty.

Also, students from the 1st to 4th courses cheerfully celebrated the International Day of Smile this day. Students learned about the history of the “smile”, actively participated in various competitions and quizzes. Each group presented its emotion in the form of a “smile”, surprising with its bright performances and charging everyone with positive energy and a good mood.

The celebration of interesting events at the Faculty of Foreign Languages is an integral part of active, student life. Student life is just beginning for the first-year students and we wish them success in their academic and extracurricular activities.
