Victories of weightlifters!

The Ukrainian Weightlifting Championships among men and women took place in Lviv.

These competitions are the most important All-Ukrainian launch in 2018. Athletes of the Luhansk region received five awards, among which three are gold, one silver and one bronze medal.

According to the final results, the women’s team of Luhansk region took the second place: the first-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports” – Nadiia Levanzova took the second step of the pedestal in the weight category (49 kg) with the sum of 99 kg.

 The men’s team of the Luhansk region took the 6th team place: the second-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports” Oleksii Shkurskyi won the championship gold in the weight category (73 kg) with the sum of 287 kg. The third-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports” Bohdan Buryachek took the third step of the pedestal in the weight category (109 kg) with the sum of 361 kg.
