Health Day took place at the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences. 

Health Day is a traditional event; its main goal is to attract first-year students to the socio-cultural life of the Institute, which, in turn, gives them the opportunity to enter the amicable family of the Institute. Nothing brings the collective closer together like a casual conversation in nature, at the fire, on the last warm autumn days. Within the framework of the event, sports competitions and various contests were organized.

During the official opening of the event, the Director of the structural subdivision A.V. Bader and the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University S.V. Savchenko addressed all those present.

An integral part of the holiday was the “Tournament table competition”, in which student teams presented themselves and their culinary masterpieces, including roast meat, pilaf, Greek salad and field porridge. Teachers tasted the dishes of contestants and told funny stories from the life of the Institute.

Teams of the junior and senior courses competed in sports contests. There was a large number of relay races aimed at uniting the team. The first-year team faced a situation when it is necessary to unite in a short time, and demonstrated a real will to win. In turn, the senior students showed the ability to achieve the goal together. The highlight of the sports part was the tug of war. The projectile was pulled by young men and girls of the first and senior years. However, the undisputed winner became senior students.

The traditional end of the holiday was the performance of the Institute hymn.
