The Walk of Fame Was Opened at LNU

Walk of Fame dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory was opened at LNU.
70 rosebushes were planted within the campaign “Beauty Will Save the World”. Each of them presents the year of the victory over Nazism.
The first rosebushes were planted jointly by the LNU students and the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and military operation participants Vahin Ivan Semenovych, Kapusta Volodymyr Ivanovych and Zhykharskyi Mykhailo Prokopovych. Besides, among the campaign participants there are a son of the Hero of the Soviet Union Derevianko Serhii Vasylovych, the members of the veterans organization of LNU Starobilsk Faculty, the Head of Starobilsk District Veterans Organization Serhii Voloshyn and LNU employees.
“Walk of Flame was planted at the premises of LNU Starobilsk Faculty. First of all, this was done in order for the students to remember about the feats of our Heroes, to venerate traditions and to respect veterans. This is a kind of Walk of Memory – memory of the Great Victory. Everyone who walks along it remembers the grandfather or grandmother who fought in the war, a veteran from the neighbors, war and feats,” – told the Dean of Starobilsk Faculty Mykola Vykhvatenko.
