Grant for young scientists
10.9.2018
Mathematicians of LTSNU received a grant of the SFFR of Ukraine for young scientists.
The Department of Algebra and System Analysis received a grant from the State Fund for Fundamental Research of Young Scientists’ Scientific Projects. The project’s scientific adviser is Yuri Zhuchok, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, associate professor of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. The Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, senior lecturer of the department Yuliya Zhuchok and the assistant of the Department Olena Toichkina will also work on the implementation of the scientific research “Semigroups of endomorphisms and free algebras”.
655 projects from various universities of Ukraine were submitted for participation in the contest. Examination of the projects was entrusted to the State Scientific Institution “Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information”. As a result of the selection, the authors of the 41 projects, including the young scientists project of our University, received grant support.
Conducting fundamental research on the most important problems of the modern theory of semigroups and algebraic graph theory is the main goal of the research work of Yurii Zhuchok. The results of the research are planned to be published in specialized editions of Ukraine and foreign mathematical journals that have an Impact factor and are included in the Scientometric databases of Scopus or Web of Science.
Let us wish success and creative inspiration to young scientists!
