An interesting meeting at the institute!

On the eve of the Day of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, an interesting meeting was held at the Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

The graduate of the Institute, Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, Honored Coach of Ukraine A.N. Gorin came to the structural subdivision of the University. For many years, he worked as a senior coach of the youth team of Ukraine in gymnastics sports, which repeatedly won prizes at European and World competitions. At the World Universiade in Bangkok (in 2007) the national team, which included three of our students, won silver medals.

For coaching career, Oleksandr Mykolaiovych trained 1 Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, 4 masters of sports of Ukraine of international class and more than 30 masters of sports of Ukraine. Oleksandr Mykolaiovych paid special attention to the fact that he received a diploma at the institute, thanks to which he achieved such high results in sports and in life. He feels proud that he is a graduate of our higher educational institution. Also Oleksandr Mykolaiovych told interesting stories from life; as our graduates, having received diplomas at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, got a job in different countries of the world: the USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, China, etc.

After the end of the sports career, gymnasts and acrobats were invited to the “Circus du Soleil”, where they successfully perform in various show programs.

Students and teachers thanked Oleksandr Mykolaiovych for the interesting meeting, congratulated him on the Day of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine and wished him continued success in his hard coaching.
