Excursion in Poltava
6.9.2018
On September 5, freshmen and curators of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts strolled through the city center as part of an unusual excursion.
The excursion was conducted by Artur Aroian, the teacher of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, as well as the architect, historian, researcher of Poltava city.
We started with the Museum of Local Lore. The following points of the route became the Lysenko Musical College, the house of the ophthalmologist Khaim Aronovich Glaizer, the monument to Hetman Ivan Mazepa, the observation deck on the historical center of Poltava, the I. Kotlyarevsky Museum-Estate, the White Arbor, Monument of Cossack glory, the house of Bahmutsky, the theater named after N. Gogol. We completed the route on the landmark for all the citizens of the Round Square.
The story about each location lasted 5-10 minutes, but it was really interesting: unusual facts, unusual looks – even the native citizens had something to listen to and discover something new. All freshmen listened to Artur Sargisovich with pleasure – after all, young people always quickly find a common language.
Artur Aroian is known for his “proprietary” presentation of information, as well as for the reformation with the usual excursion – he creates a completely new format based on dialogue, interaction and personal charisma.
