Day of Knowledge in Kreminna

The Day of Knowledge was celebrated in the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports (the city of Kreminna).
The Day of Knowledge is a significant event in life for every student and teacher. At the beginning of the new academic year, a solemn celebration was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education And Sports. It was attended by Oleksandr Meniailenko, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, as well as Olga Lishik – Deputy Chairman of the Luhansk Regional State Administration; Anton Volokhov – Head of the Department of Youth and Sports of the Luhansk Regional State Administration; Andrii Nuzhnyi – Head of the Department of Sports Medicine of the Luhansk Regional Hospital; Natalia Chekhuta – chairman of the Kreminna District State Administration; Yurii Prokopenko – head of the city of Kreminna; Boris Rudenko – deputy chairman of the District Council; Viktor Ostretsov – Chairman of the Luhansk Regional Branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine; Yurii Ishchenko – director of the Luhansk Regional Physical Culture Center “Olimp”; Oleg Klemenchukov – director of the Luhansk Regional School of Higher Sports Skills.
The director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, the Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, senior lecturer, deserved coach of Ukraine Yurii Polulyashchenko addressed all those present with a welcoming speech. Also congratulations were said by Olga Lishik, Natalia Chekhuta and Oleksandr Meniailenko.
The first-year students were dressed in white T-shirts with Olympic symbols and the logo of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports. And teachers and students of II-IV years put on traditional T-shirts with the inscription “Luhansk is Ukraine”.
