Presentation of the Project

Teachers of the Ukrainian Language Department presented the educational and research joint project “Ukrainian code of words: history, theory, practice, method of introducing Ukrainian spelling.”

Today, design is a special type of intellectual activity, a characteristic feature of which is a perspective orientation, a practical research. The basis of design technology is the development of cognitive and research activities of students, the ability to design their knowledge, navigate the information space.

The project provides for the definition of the topic and purpose of the study, the argumentation of the relevance of the study, the definition of the subject and object, tasks and methods, the definition of the research methodology, the hypotheses of solving the problem and planning solutions.

The project strategy envisages the presentation of research and creative products reflecting the history, theory, modern practice and methods of studying Ukrainian spelling – the Ukrainian code of words – as an important factor in the national identification of Ukrainians; normalization of the Ukrainian language system in spelling, punctuation, culturological, genre-stylistic, methodological aspects; the formation of Ukrainian written science in its history and modern problems; methodical means in the linguistic education of pupils and students.

The project executors will be students of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications and teachers of the Ukrainian language department. The project will accompany the students’ mastering of linguistic, linguistic and methodological disciplines.
