Entrance examinations for postgraduate studies

The entrance examinations for postgraduate studies began at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. 

The doctoral and postgraduate studies have been functioning since 1965 at our University. During this time a large number of specialists were trained who became outstanding scientists and gained prestige not only on the territory of Ukraine, but also at the international level. Young scientists are the continuers of the scientific traditions and the future builders of science in our country.

Today, 23 prospective applicants passed the examination in philosophy. Professor Ilia Kononov congratulated all those present and spoke about the features of test tasks and wished success during testing.

This year, the exams are attended by applicants in the specialties: educational, pedagogical sciences; professional education; musical art, history and archeology; philology; economy; political science; agronomy; social work; public administration and management. The requirements for joining the postgraduate courses remained unchanged this year. Test assignments correspond to level B, respectively, with international requirements for determining the level of knowledge of a foreign language, and the normative period for the preparation of Ph.D. in postgraduate study is four years.

Scientists still waiting for the exam in a foreign language and professional discipline. Now it is known that the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has provided our University with 13 budget places for applicants for Ph.D.
