Day of Knowledge at the Faculty of Natural Sciences

The Faculty of Natural Sciences celebrated the Day of Knowledge for the 96th time.

This year the Faculty of Natural Sciences opened its doors to more than 200 students and more than 100 master students who attended a university holiday and a faculty event dedicated to the Day of Knowledge.

The holiday began with the faculty event, where the Dean of the Faculty, deputy deans, head of the department, teachers and first-year students met. During the event, freshmen and their parents were told the history of the University, the native faculty and departments. All first-year students were given memorable badges with the emblem of the University and the Faculty. At the end of the event, the enlarged family of the Faculty united in the performance of the faculty anthem, and then this friendly family went to the university event celebrating the Day of Knowledge.

The senior students of our Faculty helped to create the festive mood at the university event. The faculty ensemble with a dancing incendiary composition performed especially brightly. Based on the results of work in the Admission Committee, a second-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Biology” Anastasia Ponomarenko was awarded.

After that, in cozy classrooms freshmen met with the heads of their departments, teachers, curators of academic groups and senior students, who in a friendly conversation told about the peculiarities of teaching and student life.

At the end of the event, the Dean of the Faculty Natalia Yuriivna Matzai wished freshmen health, scientific and creative inspiration in the way of acquiring knowledge and practical skills.
