Head of the Department of Algebra and Systems Analysis Anatolii Zhuchok received a Presidential Grant for research.
Petro Poroshenko signed an order on the appointment of grants from the President of Ukraine to doctors of sciences for scientific research in 2018. Among others the Grant was assigned to Anatolii Zhuchok, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor, Head of the Algebra and System Analysis Department of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, for carrying out scientific research “Relatively free n-fold semigroups.”
The purpose of the research work of Anatolii Zhuchok is conducting the fundamental research on the most important problems of the modern theory of universal algebras and the theory of semigroups – areas of mathematics, which are actively developing. Based on the results of the research, a number of scientific articles will be prepared and published in the professional publications of Ukraine and foreign mathematical journals that have the Impact Factor and are part of the well-known science-based databases of Scopus and the Web of Science.
Grants of the President of Ukraine for 2018 to doctors of sciences are appointed in accordance with Article 4 of the Decree of the President of Ukraine of May 16, 2008 No. 444 “On Additional Measures to Ensure the Development of the Scientific Sphere” and Presidential Decree No. 446 of June 17, 2009 “On Approval of the Regulation on Annual Grants of the President of Ukraine to Doctors of Sciences for Scientific Research “.
