Recently Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and Lviv National Ivan Franko University signed a memorandum of cooperation.

Strengthening ties between teachers of Luhansk and Lviv region has been going on for the second year. So last year teachers of our University welcomed teachers from Western Ukraine who attended scientific conferences and lecture classes. Within a few days, scientists had the opportunity to exchange experiences, study the characteristics of colleagues’ work, their traditions and cultural heritage.

Another step towards the convergence of teachers from different parts of our country was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the oldest universities in the Luhansk and Lviv regions. The chairman of the Lviv Regional Council, Oleksandr Ganushchin, noted that this will be the next step in the implementation of the project of teachers in Lviv and Luhansk regions.

The important document was signed by the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Serhii Savchenko, the Director of the Ivan Franko National University Botanical Garden Andrii Prokopov and the Executive Director of the regional association of local councils “Soviets of Lviv region” Vasyl Lozinsky.
