Victory again!

Students of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports won again.

Students-athletes with disabilities study in the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physical Education and Sports. They successfully compete in regional, All-Ukrainian and international competitions.

After a successful performance at the Cup of Ukraine in Bakhmut, recently was held the Ukrainian Athletics Championships among sportsmen with disabilities in Kropyvnytskyi.

The combined team of the Luhansk region with confidence took the first place and won 27 medals. Of these, 20 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze. As part of the national team, our students won 8 gold and 2 bronze medals.

So, Ogarkova Tetiana, first-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Human Health” received 3 gold medals (shot put, discus throwing and javelin throwing). Anastasia Pakholia, first-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Human Health” received 3 gold medals (discus throwing, javelin throwing and shot put). They throw and push sitting on a special chair because of the heavy leg injury.

Viktor Malyshev, master student majoring in “Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy” won a gold medal in javelin throwing. Oleksandr Romanchenko, third-year student majoring in “Human Health” received a gold medal in discus throwing and a bronze medal in the shot put. Pavlo Bogatyrev, third-year student majoring in “Physical Education” won a bronze medal in discus throwing.

The Honored coach of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine Rimma Starostina trained athletes of the Luhansk region.
