The Admission Committee started its work

Today the Admission Committee of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University started its work.

An important activity of the University is the work of the Admission Committee, which takes part in the formation of the student contingent and the support of a positive image of the higher educational institution.

During the year teachers and staff made efforts to demonstrate to the entrants all the advantages of studying at LTSNU. The teachers prepared all the necessary exam materials in advance for the entrance examinations, formed and approved a technical group of the admissions committee.

During the year, teachers and staff of the university structural divisions conducted career-oriented work, which enabled them to inform graduates about the specifics of their education. The specialists of the Admission Committee advised the entrants on the topical issues regarding the entry and the deadline for submitting documents to higher educational institutions.

The peculiarities of the rules for admission of entrants of various categories this year was told by the deputy chairman of the admission committee D.V. Uzhchenko. “Today, all Ukraine has entered the active phase of the admission campaign: electronic offices begin to work, where the applicants have the opportunity to register, the work of the admission committee began. Specialists of our university provide consultations, help applicants to solve emerging issues” – the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work said.

Today, teachers, staff and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University visited the grand opening of the 2018 admission campaign.

At the beginning of the event, the meeting was addressed by the Chairman of the Admission Committee S.V. Savchenko, who outlined the main tasks that the technical team faces and emphasized the need to create a calm, benevolent atmosphere and to implement an individual approach to each entrant.

The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Babichev addressed the audience with words of congratulations. He noted that this work is honorable, responsible and requires persistence and endurance. And the head of the educational center “Donbas-Ukraine” of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University N.Yu. Matsai added that working in the Admission Committee opens broad prospects for further professional work.

After the official opening of the admission campaign, the executive secretary of the Admission Committee Ya.I. Yurkiv held the first working meeting, in which she dwelled in detail on the Rules of Admission to Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
