Educational center began its work

The educational center of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University “Donbas-Ukraine” began its work.

The program of affordable education for applicants from Luhansk and Donetsk regions was developed and implemented in 2016. As part of its implementation, educational centers “Donbas-Ukraine” were established on the basis of higher education institutions.

During two admission campaigns, persons who live in the territory of the antiterrorist operation and residents of settlements on the demarcation line enjoy a simplified procedure of passing the external testing and receive a high-quality higher education. In 2016, thanks to the program of accessible education, 130 people, and in 2017 230 persons became the students of our University.

This year the list of settlements of the Luhansk region, whose residents can take advantage of the simplified procedure of entering HEEs, has been expanded. The settlements of the Novoaydarsky district have been additionally introduced: the villages of Muratovo, Kapitonovo, Grechishkino, Dubove, Bakhmutivka, Tsarevka, Demenkovo ​​and Dmytrivka.

Despite the fact that the activity of the educational center began today, hard work continued throughout the year. The specialists conducted an active advertising campaign, worked in social networks and advised entrants. At the checkpoint “Stanitsa Luhanska” the University’s teachers placed a banner and information materials on the features of the simplified procedure for admission to higher education institutions.

Thanks to cooperation with media staff of the university, representatives of the rating channels of TV visited our institution today. Journalists talked with students who took advantage of the program of affordable education, as well as with entrants who came to Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. The head of the Educational Center N.Yu. Matzai on the air of the TV channel “UA: DONBAS” spoke about the results of work over the past years and the prospects for further activity.

This year educational centers “Donbas-Ukraine” will work from June 4 to September 28. But for admission to the state order place it is necessary to submit documents until July 20.

from 04.06.2018 to 30.09.2018 – from 08:00 to 17:00,
Saturday and Sunday – from 09:00 to 15:00.
