Participation in the seminar

May 17-18, 2018 the Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking I.A. Gnatenko took part in the seminar “Modern Approaches to Bank Regulation and Supervision in Ukraine”, which was held in Kyiv.

The event was organized by representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine for teachers of higher education institutions of Ukraine.

The seminar participants discussed the following issues: current trends in the banking sector; determination of capital requirements for covering credit, market and operational risks; new requirements to the regulatory capital structure of banks; stress testing of banks as a tool for banking supervision; standards for the management and analysis of business models of banks as part of the SREP process; improvement of the banking supervision tools in the conditions of European integration and in accordance with Basel requirements, etc.

The materials of the seminar will be used to update the teaching and methodological support of the disciplines of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking.
